Ticketing Terms & Conditions
Tickets are available for both the Zeidlerei workshop and the conference. To attend both, you must purchase two tickets, one for each. The Zeidlerei workshop costs 396€ and includes light breakfast, lunch, and dinner for both days. Conference tickets cost 198€ and include coffee service and pastries/snacks only; lunches and dinners must be purchased at attendees’ own expense. Due to limited capacity, there will only be 60 spots available for the workshop and 300 spots for the conference.
Tickets are sold via Ticket Tailor, a service that charges a small booking fee. All payments must be made in euros (€) via credit/debit card, PayPal, or by bank transfer.
A limited number of scholarships were awarded to individuals whose financial means did not allow them to afford full-price tickets. Rates were 200€ for the Zeidlerei workshop and 130€ for the conference. Click here for more information. Applications were accepted until 15 July 2019.
Buyers can purchase tickets to either or both events, at which time they will be asked to fill out personal information: name, email, telephone, address. For each ticket purchased, additional questions will be asked of each attendee so that we know who is coming, how to label her/his badge, what languages s/he speaks, how to contact attendees in case any issues arise, etc. Please carefully fill in all information, as badges will be based on what is submitted and will not be able to be amended onsite.
Attendees of the Zeidlerei workshop will be required to sign a waiver form before participating. We will contact attendees directly to process this.
Learning from the Bees | Berlin 2019 and its legal representatives retain the right and permission to publish, without charge, photographs and/or videos taken during the events, which may be used in print and/or electronic communications. By registering for the workshop and/or conference, attendees acknowledge and agree that they may potentially appear in future communications.
Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to email@example.com.
Cancellations received before 18h00 CET on 31 July will receive a full refund for all pre-paid fees, minus an administration charge of 50€ for Zeidlerei workshop tickets and 25€ for conference tickets. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date; however, tickets can be transferred to others. To transfer a ticket from one attendee to another, a request must be made via email before 15 August.
All approved refunds will be processed and issued within 60 days after the conference.
In case the organizers cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued to all attendees who have purchased tickets. The organizers, however, cannot be held liable for refunds for pre-booked flights, hotel accommodations, or other travel arrangements.
Attendees who do not show up to the workshop and/or conference will not be granted a refund without prior notice of cancellation.
The conference will not be responsible for any bodily harm or loss of property that may occur at any event venue. Attendees should consider purchasing a traveler’s medical coverage policy.
The conference reserves the right to deny admission to any attendee behaving poorly or causing any disruption.
